  Once upon a time... my parents owned a white 1963 Volkswagen Beetle with a moonroof, just like the one that Herbie the Love Bug was based on. Fast forward 35+ years later, add two small kids to the mix who enjoyed the "Love Bug" movies - and the spark for a collection was born. A few models here and there suddenly filled a case, then several cases, and now several years later we're at almost 300 different models! We created this site as both a reference for our collection as well as the other models that we've seen but don't have - it keeps growing! Legalese: I'm not a dealer, so I don't know what these models are worth, so please don't send me emails asking for appraisals of your models. As a general comment all photos, logos and other proprietary content belong to their respective owners (i.e. I'm not trying to violate any trademarks - everything is for personal use only). If something's here that shouldn't be, let me know and I'll remove it. We hope that you enjoy the site.
