3 Models / Kits 35 models shown here (not counted in overall total) - last update October 2005 A popular area of NB collecting involves "Code 3" models, which are loosely defined as factory models that have been modified or customized (usually without the permission of the manufacturer). This distinction is somewhat arbitrary, as there are companies who use models provided directly by the manufacturers to make promotional models. These models are typically limited in release; there are also examples below of models that are literally one of kind. For that reason, I don't actively collect them, because it would generally be impossible (or expensive) to acquire all of them. If you include the one-offs, there could be an unlimited number of variations. I'm not knocking them; many are quite nice models. |
